Stephen’s obsession with driving started at a very young age, using any excuse to get on tractors, mowers, karts and generally anything with wheels. This passion has never faded buying his first car at 16 and his first turbo performance car at 20. His love for Subaru started back in 1996 when Colin McRae muscled the 555 car around the World Rally circuit. At 22 he stepped into a brand new MY02 WRX, then at 24 into an MY05 STi—the one he races today.
Since returning to Australia in 2009, Stephen has been a successful club level driver in a wide range for motorsport events in south east Queensland and WTAC held in Sydney. He also an experienced driver coach, teaching the public how to improve their skills and lap times as part of the V8 Race Experience team.
